Our mission
Our vision is to provide New Zealand Police personnel, new trainees and other government agencies with the very best firearms training available. Our Firearms Training Units objective is to develop and deliver a comprehensive and consistent firearms training curriculum that provides the skills needed to safely and effectively use firearms, while performing their duties. We are not here to offer multiple training options. We train in the field of Firearms and we are at the top of our field.
We have partnered up with other training providers that are specialists in their field and we work together closely and when working with us their goals and visions are the same as ours.
Our training courses
Tactical Systems specialise in offering live fire program coaching shots on target accuracy, which strengthens muscle memory in times of critical decision making. Our system will not contravene current police firearms training policies, procedures or doctrine. We provide an additional supplementary delivery method of time on target training.
We offer comprehensive training curriculums to clients across the country. Our training division delivers comprehensive and consistent firearms training curriculum that provide Police officers and new candidates the skills needed to safely and effectively use firearms, if necessary, while performing their duties.
Safety is paramount
Tactical Systems Instructors constantly remind candidates of safety measures.
The program teaches that there are no accidents, just crashes… It puts full responsibility in the hands of the “Driver” and emphasises that it is ever the “Drivers” duty to be aware of themselves and others while on the “Road” of life.
Who we train
Our main focus is to provide live fire options to members of the New Zealand Police but we also offer a program for candidates that are going through the process of entry into New Zealand Police College offering the fundamentals of firearms safety and competency.
